Dear Sisters and Brothers ,
Our year is well under way with Kickoff, both Schools of Instruction and the magnificent Grand Officers Reception
held at the Governor’s Mansion completed. The Official Visits Kicked Off with the Denim and Diamond Theme of Myrtle #12 honoring our Worthy Grand Patron Michael Giles. Spamolot, Mourned on Land, Where the Heart of the Golden West and Rainbows Meet, Muppets, Puppets and Other Friends and Hearts were the themes of Park #26, Daylite #30, Desert #22, North Star #33 and Sunrise #28. These Official visits have been most enjoyable and the officers and members can be proud of their Chapter’s ritualistic work. The Hands Across the Border
with Arizona held at Havasu City #61, Bullhead City Sunrise #60 and Sunrise #28 in Henderson, Nevada was enjoyed
and very well attended. Throw in a Friendship Night at Elko #17, a Crab Feed at Martha #5 (YUM, YUM), an Initiation for Reno’s Jobs Daughter Bethel and other Stated Meetings; it no wonder our cars show approximately 3,00 miles added to the odometer during the last month and a half. What fun it has been.

These are just a few of the upcoming events listed for the month of March. Please check the calendar for our April events.

There has been a change to the calendar. Naomi Chapter #16 Friendship and Honor Night has been changed to March 21, dinner at 6:30 and Stated Meeting to begin at 7:30 PM.

As you can see, Nevadan's do not let grass grow under their feet for two reasons, first there is a lot of sand and second we are always on the go. With that last profound statement, we will say good bye and remember a
true Eastern Star friend is someone who thinks you are a good egg even though they know you are slightly cracked.

Fraternally.
